The St. Anselm Community was created in June of 2012 with a small number of former Episcopalians seeking to be received into the Catholic Church while maintaining their commitments to the spiritual patrimony of the Episcopal and Anglican traditions.

Over the successive years, many more have joined this initial group in the Ordinariate or used the provisions of Anglicanorum Coetibus to join parishes of the Diocese of Charleston through the work and prayers of the St. Anselm Community. We treasure, support, and pray for all our many friends; both those who have remained in our former communions and those who are in the Catholic Church.

Fr. Jonathan Duncan is the Administrator of the Community.  Fr. Duncan also serves as the Chaplain of St. Joseph's Catholic School.
