Sacraments & Prayer
The Ordinariate shares with the broader Catholic Church the riches of the liturgical traditions of prayer. A special charism of the Ordinariate is the offering of Divine Worship: The Missal, a unique form of the Roman Rite, which incorporates prayers and devotions from the Anglican/Episcopalian tradition.
St. Anselm's gathers in prayer and sanctifies time through its common prayer. In particular, we celebrate particular opportunities to express our shared traditions.
Mass: Beginning on Nov. 27th, the St. Anselm's Community will celebrate the Ordinariate form of the Roman Rite each Sunday at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic School in Greenville.
Fellowship & Formation: Following Sunday mass, the St. Anselm's Community will gather together for Christian fellowship and brief adult formation in the Faith. This is a wonderful opportunity for Anglicans or other Protestants and seekers to learn more about the Catholic Faith and the St. Anselm's community.
Evensong: In partnership with the choirs of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Anselm's sponsors Evensong from the Ordinariate Divine Office about once a month in Trinity time. This expression of the riches of the Anglican patrimony is a stunning expression of the beauty of holiness. Evensong occurs at 5 PM on select Sundays. Check our social media platforms for the schedule.
